Roidmi Z1 Air Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

YouTube video player

This is the Roidmi Z1 Air, Roidmi’s entry level cordless handheld vacuum cleaner.

Opening up the box we have a manual, crevice brush, extension tube, motorized cleaning head, cleaning brush, mounting bracket, a power adapter and of course the Roidmi vacuum. Looks quite cool in pristine white.

We have the battery here, it has a power port on the back to charge it up, and we can see the battery level via these leds at the back. It doesn’t seem like you can remove the battery.

We have the Roidmi branding on the top.

The trigger here activates the vacuum, no need to hold it down. Wow, that’s quite the exhaust from the top. This button here switches between the power modes.

The top cover opens up revealing the filter. It can be removed to be cleaned or replaced.

The 110W motor runs at 100,000 RPM and has a max suction power of 22 kPa.

The vacuum has a 10 cyclone separation system which reduces filter blockage.

Weight is 1.55 kg, but it is designed to bring the center of gravity close to the handle making it feel lighter than it actually is.

Battery life is estimated at around 60 minutes, this will be at the lower power level.

The extension tube attaches like this and can be removed like so. The end allows snap fitting the attachment which are only two.

One is the crevice brush and the other is the motorized brush.

The rod also provides the power through these pins here.

The motorized brush when active will pull itself forward making it easy to clean. If something does get trapped within the vacuum would turn off for a few seconds to protect itself from heating up.

It comes with the soft roller brush by default which will not damage hard wooden floors and tiles.

The connector can move 90 degrees up and down and 180 degrees to the sides.

The brush can be removed from the housing to clean, like this. Once cleaned replace it back and insert the locking tab back in.

Crevice brush can be used to clean corners and high up. It can be attached directly to the vacuum for close up cleaning, and to the extension rod where more reach is required.

The dust bin is 650ml, and is easy to empty using this button here. One touch and it empties.

This is how you would remove the filter for cleaning.

Noise is around 72 dB,  it doesn’t sound that loud.

A wall mount is provided, which uses a sticker instead of having to screw it in, this is great as we don’t need to damage the walls. The charging cable can be routed through here. And this is how it looks docked.

So that was a quick look at the Roidmi Z1 Air.
